This weekend, Sean and I went to Lake Tahoe with friends for doing our first snowboarding.
We lived in friend's house which is not too far away from skiing ranch.
During the snow season, many houses in Tahoe are for short-term rental. Therefore you could have 3 or 5 roomates sharing the house with you.
The Interesting thing is  you can meet different kinds of friends coming from different city, working in diversified industry, and moreover, you can experience varied culture background.

Due to there were five people(including my friends) shared the house together and  each one of them brought  guests. So we got 13 people sleeping in the house in total! It was like a small party!

Everyone talked with each other and shared the interesting things such as their work experience. It was a nice chance to practice my speaking and listening. But sometimes I still couldn't realized what were they talking about!!haha!!

Actually this time I didn't buy whole equipment of snowboarding because this was my first time went to do this exercise. I didn't know if I would like it or not. So I only bought  one snow pants and  a pair of gloves.

At first day,we rent the boots and snowboards and we also went to the beginner's class. So the equipments and lift tickets were totally $120 for two people which I though it was cheap for us.

At the first ,the instructor taught us how to stand up from ground with snowboard and how to use our toes to control the board.
At the beginning of the class, I thought both sides would be difficult for me.
Because when I tried to stand up with snowboard,it always made me slide away. The hardest part was to stop the snowboard on the snow.

I kept falling and didn't know how to manipulate this God damn snowboard. I was tumbling all the way down to the hill for my first try.

I was so exhausted and I thought I couldn't try again!! So I just sat on the snow and breathed like a dog.

Unfortunately,my instructor saw me and yelled me follow the procession.Oh no! I couldn't help but follow the team to do the next practice.

When I played my second round, suddenly,I realized how to control my snowboard and keep balance.I was so excited about this. In the third round , I learned how to change my direction of sonwboard.Haha! I was doing better than I thought!  I enjoyed snowboarding so much!

This was a nice snowboarding trip that I learned how to play snowboard. Though my hand and body were so sore but it was so worthy. And I finally knew why my friends love skiing so much.

Sofi and I . I had a strong arm, cause my jacket size was big
